West Slope Sierra Trout Fishing...

With literally thousands of river miles to explore, the West Slope of the Sierra offers a vast playground for anglers of all skill levels to explore. From small spring creeks, rushing freestone rivers and large trophy canyon drainages the West Slope will keep you coming back for more season after season. While all of our guided trips are custom tailored to each of our clients specific interests and requirements here are just a few of the more popular outings we offer.

Full Day Walk and Wade Outings...

You can choose to spend a full or multi day outing exploring the vast wonder of the West Slope Sierra. You will spend a full (8-13 hour day) hiking, wading and fishing on some of the most productive and scenic waters to be found in the country. Either by yourself or with a group, our guides will put you into some of the very best fishing for rainbow, brown, cutthroat, brook and golden trout to be found in the state. We can also arrange lodging at a local bed and breakfast so you will be fueled by a gourmet breakfast before you hit a long day on the river and your nights can be spent in luxury.
Our Sierra Sampler Outings...

On a multi-day outing, you will stay at our wonderful bed and breakfast with amazing meals and unmatched comfort. Your days will be spent having a sample of the many rivers available in the area. Because of their close proximity to one another it is common to fish up to three different streams in per day. Over a few days on the water, you will learn how to get to and fish a lifetime worth of rivers to come back and more deeply explore on your own. These trips  run from May 1st until Nov. 15th. (Please note: Alternative lodging arrangements can be made for this outing)

Our Sierra Trout Camps...

One of the most popular and exciting trips we do every season are our Sierra Trout Camps. We will set camp for you or you group for a minimum of an overnight stay. We will meet you the first afternoon and after an excellent gourmet dinner at camp we will hike of to fish during the best time of day... The evening hatch! After hooking hordes of hungry fish feeding on the surface we will head back for an amazing dessert, a few drinks around the fire and fishing tells untill the comfotable beds in our full size canvas wall tents call us in to sleep. The next morning (after filling breakfast) we will head out to the water to either hike into a remote section of stream that rarely see other anglers, or drive to multiple locations to do a more "Sierra Sampler" outing.

We will break out our 2-4 wt rods for these trips for fish that average 10-16 inches with shots many trophy size fish in the 17-22 inch range had daily. The size of these intimante sections of stream, coupled with thier remote beauty has made our camps        among the most favorite of our clients. Our camps run most years between late May and early August.
