This little
pattern has produced the most violent strikes of any fly that
we Tie. You can use it for any thing from Rainbows to Tarpon.
We primarily use this pattern while Striper fishing in our area.
It is best to fish this pattern slow, with short, hard strips,
to really make it jig. Most of the takes on this pattern will
come while the fly is dead still or on the swing. Place your rod
tip under the water and keep your line as straight as possible.
After each strip watch for your line to go taught. Rip their bloody
heads of on the set and have a great time.

Gills: Tie a clump of red rabbit hair on each side of the hook directly
behind the barbell eye's.

lay in between the eyes on top of the shank. E-Z Shape the Head to
match the colors used in the pattern.
