We have fished this pattern in all types of water for all species of fish... Primarily a Bass and Striper Pattern it has hooked every thing form big rainbows in our lakes to 25 pound Dorado in BAJA... We highly recommend playing around with colors and sizes to match your particular hatch.

Hook: TMC 8090, Using pliers bend hook to form a keel. The highest point of the bend should be just under the point of the hook. Bend is placed about 1 inch ( use your judgment) from hook eye. Once bent place the hook in your vice so that it is
inverted.

Thread: 6/0 white or light gray.

Underbody: .28 Lead wrapped from bend of hook, to the point in which you placed the bend.Overlaid w/ silver tinsel.

Body: White bucktail under two more stack of white bucktail and crystal flash extending out past the hook about the distance of the gap... Gray Bucktail for last stack extending just slightly further.

Overbody: Two mallard Flank feathers tied in on either side of the hook, to cover bucktail and give bait fish profile.

Head: Pearl E-Z Shape with w/ Pure Black E-Z Shape eyes.

Note: Let the E-Z Shape roll back onto your material to secure body and bucktail.
