Our Instructional programs are the most intensive and productive you will find anywhere. All of our instructional trips are performed on stream, not in some boring classroom. Our patient and skilled instructors have a combined total of 60 years of teaching experience. We conduct these programs one on one with you, or your small group. There is an instructor for every two anglers, which means you get instruction you need, and not tangled in someone else's back cast.

All of our instructional outings include all equipments, shuttles, gourmet stream side lunch and guides in the rates listed below.

Intro To Casting and Presentation

Designed for the absolute beginner, this four hour lesson will cover the basics. We will teach you Casting, Presentation, and Fly selection. This trip is perfect for a child, or for an adult who is looking for a inexpensive way to find out if fly fishing is for them.

Full Day Instruction

From the beginner wishing to learn the quite sport, to the more advanced angler who wants to add to their bag of tricks, we look forward to the challenge of teaching you. Learn from a variety of instructional programs including fly fishing 101, advanced nymph/streamer tactics, bass on the fly, and many more. You may also choose to have one of our instructors custom tailor a lesson, for a particular type of fishing you would like to master.

Multi-Day Instructional Outings

For the absolute most out of your instructional program, we suggest our multi-day outings. We will spend an average of ten hours a day, over a two or three day trip. This will give the visiting student a chance to learn new skills and then apply them to their fishing over the next few days As always, we provide all gear, and an excellent stream side lunch. (This program is highly recommended by our clients.)

Bass On The Fly

Experience the trips we most love to teach. Our bass clinics are designed to introduce anywhere from beginning, to the more advanced angler, the subtle art of hooking these predator fish with a fly rod. We have spent years developing these programs and will teach you what you need to know to consistently produce "Lunkers" at the end of your line.

Swim With The Fishes

Over a one or multi-day trip, we will spend our mornings fishing a stream. In the afternoon, we will put on the mask and snorkel and study the stream and its fish. The evening is spent applying our diving observations to more effectively fish the stream we studied. This trip is a client favorite and any angler who hasn't had the chance to explore our sport from the fishes perspective will benefit greatly from this experience. A great way to beat the long midday Summer heat.
